Well, after an unexpectedly gigantic paycheck this month (due to a combination of G4S finally getting my payrate sorted and a pretty nice tax-rebate) I decided it was time that I moved up in the world of transport. Gunther, while I still love him very much, has been showing his age badly- and frankly his bodywork is a mess. So after a few days of searching, I've managed to find a new toy.
Karl. He's a 1997 BMW 323i with an upgraded engine (installed a few years back). Metallic red paintwork that's almost totally pristine, beige leather interior, 103k on the clock. Thus far he's proven himself to have about twice Gunther's fuel efficiency, together with a quite shocking amount of power under the hood- I'll have to be careful at first. The amount of torque in the higher gears in particular is near staggering.
